Jack is a very excellent drive and sage. He has an opinion about what works, like the rest of us, and for essentially the same reasons .... is something for us. I met and spoke at length with him a few times and never said that I was not. I have one of his books at home when I saw just to see if it says, edit it and my reply with a quote from the book, if I find something too.

Well, why I can never be a container for me is that vital nutrients to the water carries the debate on the need for development. I asked the same question in a forum a few weeks ago, as below.
An earlier post said something that I read, and some of my fish pounds. Carbon is not only active for a very long time. It works best to allow nitrifiers to a level above everything else, mainly because of the many pores. I think more than anything biological filter.
